Since 2011, Florida’s Joshua Abbott Organ and Tissue Donor Registry has added more than 4 million organ, tissue and eye donors thanks to the efforts of driver license office staff encouraging Floridians to become organ donors when obtaining or renewing their driver license. Florida tax collector offices continue to be the leading source for registering Floridians, ultimately saving more lives and providing hope to those who are waiting for a transplant.
